Hobbit Door

I 3D sculpted the various parts of this hobbit door in ZBrush: brick frame, stone frame, wooden door, metal overlays and bolts, doorknob, and stone steps. Coming at about 3,000,000 tris, I did some retopology in Maya to reduce that count to about 10,000. After using Substance Painter for texturing, I took the model into Marmoset for final rendering.

GameCube Controller

This is my attempt in realistic 3D modeling of an object - a Nintendo Wavebird Wireless Controller. Modeled in Maya using a variety of techniques such as mirror extrusions and working from bigger to smaller. Textures were done in Substance Painter and rendered in Marmoset.

Animated Painting

A digital painting turned animated done entirely in Photoshop. With every moving part having their own layer I was able to easily manipulate how things move independently while utilizing the timeline tool. Clearly inspired by high fantasy concepts.

Landscape

I went with a stylized landscape environment and wanted to mess around with color blending. A sense of perspective and shadows were later added in for a more dynamic look. This was digitally painted in Photoshop.
